Deuteronomy chapters 29-34, informative outline

Deuteronomy 29-34 is a little after the time when the Ten Commandments were written, and it shows the disrespect of the Israelites and how they were punished. Later on, in chapter 31, God tells Moses that he will die before they reach the promised land, and that Joshua, one of the freed Israelites, would replace him as leader. Sure enough, Deuteronomy ends with Moses dying and the Israelites turning to Joshua as their leader.
